Middle School – SwitchedOn Education

Middle school is when students are aged between 11 and 14.

SwitchedOn Education lessons can be accessed anywhere 24/7 and are full of interactive, media-rich content, meaning your student can enjoy dynamic learning wherever they are!

SwitchedOn Education is a web-based curriculum available with an Internet connection. Lesson questions, quizzes, projects, and tests are completed online. Core subjects and electives are available. Services include online classrooms with SwitchedOn Education teachers, internal email options, automatic grading, and complete home educator and student support. (Available for Windows® and Macintosh® operating systems.)

Maths, Science, Geography, English, RE, and History are subjects we cover.

What are the recommended hours to be online daily?

Generally speaking, a student needs to be completing 2 assignments per subject per day. As the assignments are of varying lengths students should spend approximately 45 minutes per subject per day but this is subject to the length of assignment and number of sections per assignment coupled with the ability of the student. Please factor in all these components and remember to give students comfort and snack or food breaks throughout the day.

The cost includes access to ALL subjects within the SwitchedOn Education USA curriculum.
